Ms. Adeojo studies youth culture in modern Africa through the perspective of print media from the colonial Nigerian period. She researches the evolution and use of print culture in the transformation and making of modern men and women in West Africa and Nigeria. Certain ideas about marriage, self-representation, identity formation, and modernity, were originally restrained within homogenous societies; however, with the advent of print culture, such ideas were proliferated and reached a larger audience.
