The 2016 elections and the first year of the Trump administration have disrupted many longstanding norms and conventions, and altered the way that citizens, politicians, and the media view and evaluate policymaking. As the anniversary of the election approaches, Arthurs and Herron reflect on the ways in which this new political climate has affected student and faculty engagement in the study of history and politics.
