Teaching Politics and History in the Trump Era

Associate Professor of History Joshua Arthurs and Eberly Family Professor of Political Science Erik Herron will present "Teaching Politics and History in the Trump Era" on Wednesday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. in the Mountainlair Student Union's Rhododendron Room. Both Arthurs and Herron are faculty fellows in the WVU Honors College.

The 2016 elections and the first year of the Trump administration have disrupted many longstanding norms and conventions, and altered the way that citizens, politicians, and the media view and evaluate policymaking. As the anniversary of the election approaches, Arthurs and Herron reflect on the ways in which this new political climate has affected student and faculty engagement in the study of history and politics.
