Research Interests

Alan Roe received his Ph.D. from Georgetown University in 2016. He specializes in Russian and environmental history. His book, Into Russian Nature: Tourism, Environmental Protection, and National Parks will be published by Oxford University Press in 2020. At WVU, he teaches courses in European history.
