What is the CRM Program?

The Cultural Resource Management Program is a unit of the Eberly College of Arts & Sciences School of Applied Social Sciences offering a graduate certificate in CRM. The program is interdisciplinary in nature, and is supported by the Eberly College of Arts & Sciences; Davis College of Agriculture, Forestry, & Consumer Sciences; and the College of Creative Arts. In addition, the program maintains a close relationship with the West Virginia University Cooperative Extension Service, the West Virginia Division of Culture & History, as well as other organizations.

The program is overseen by the Eberly College Assistant Dean for the School of Applied Social Sciences, and day-to-day affairs are directed by the Coordinator, who also serves as the primary CRM advisor for students. In addition to its instructional mission, the program is committed to the research and service missions of the University, and strives to make significant contributions in these areas.
