History Graduate Student Association
With all of the changes in the History Department over the past year, a group of graduate students have begun to form a semi-formal organization to assist the department with the transition.
This organization will serve many functions for both graduate students and the department as a whole:
1. a forum for keeping up with departmental changes.
2. a support network for incoming graduate students.
3. members will assist in maintaining the website’s newer functions, i.e. blogs and media.
4. members will help arrange and assist with departmental gatherings.
5. members will assist with the Holt History Conference in 2009.
6. an advocate group for grad students.
The first organizational meeting will be announced in the Spring 2009 term. If you have any questions or would like to help, please email Isaac Emrick.
